Hi everyone!

I'm Zsuzsi, the founder and instructor of GermanAnywhere. My passion for the German language started in early childhood. I grew up in a beautiful small town with German roots, where German language and culture have been a key part of education in kindergartens and schools for many decades.

At university, I earned a Bachelor's degree in German Studies, followed by a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting with Hungarian, German, and English. My enthusiasm for teaching German has remained unshaken for over 10 years.

I strongly believe that passing on knowledge creates real value through human connections, and that language learning is more than just mastering grammar and vocabulary—it’s about exploring a culture and experiencing the joy of speaking.

For me, success is when I see my students finally putting the puzzle pieces together with the help of personalized tools and materials—when the lightbulb goes on, and they start actively and joyfully using their knowledge, moving step by step toward their goals.

As someone with a restless curiosity, I’ve always enjoyed diving deep into different fields. That’s why I chose interpreting as my university specialization. Later, I gained experience working in hospitality in German-speaking regions, and then I spent seven years in a multinational environment, starting from an entry-level position and working my way up to a managerial role—with all its challenges and rewards. Throughout this journey, I actively used both German and English in my daily work, whether in business negotiations, interviews, or everyday conversations.

No matter where life has taken me, mentoring and teaching have always remained the closest to my heart—my favorite "job" in every step of my journey.
